Compelson is a Czech software company founded in 1991. Today, we are best known for developing specialized digital forensics solutions that help investigators, law enforcement agencies and security professionals analyze mobile devices and uncover digital evidence. Our products are used by customers around the world and contribute to investigations that make a real difference.
Our journey began with software for managing mobile phones, long before smartphones became part of everyday life. MOBILedit quickly became one of the world's leading tools for phone management, offering features such as backup and restore, bulk editing and data recovery.
In 1996, we introduced one of the first dedicated solutions for mobile phone forensics, helping establish an entirely new field of digital investigations. Since then, our forensic products have been used by law enforcement agencies, military organizations and investigators worldwide to fight crime, combat terrorism and uncover the truth.
As technology continues to evolve, so do we. In 2019, we became one of the pioneers in smartwatch forensics by expanding our forensic capabilities beyond mobile phones. In 2026, we introduced MOBILedit Analyst AI, an AI-powered investigation platform designed to help investigators analyze and connect information more efficiently. We continue to develop innovative solutions that keep pace with new technologies and the evolving needs of digital investigations.

We are an international team with offices in Prague and India that work closely together on shared goals and projects. Although we have grown into an international company, Compelson is still led by its founder and CEO, Dusan Kozusnik. As a smaller company, we value flexibility, open communication and a friendly working environment where people know each other. We believe that strong teamwork is important both professionally and personally, which is why we regularly organize team activities and teambuildings outside of work.
Develops and improves our products and internal tools. The team works mainly with C++ and focuses on technically challenging problems connected to mobile technologies, data processing, and product functionality.
Responsible for sales, partnerships with resellers, customer communication, and business development across international markets. The team regularly travels worldwide to meet partners and customers and to represent Compelson at international conferences and industry events.
Helps customers and partners with technical issues, product usage, and troubleshooting. The team also handles pre-sales activities and provides training for partners and customers. The team works closely with both customers, developers, and the business team.
Our Prague office is in Lighthouse Tower in Holešovice, with good accessibility and views over the city. The space is divided into smaller open-space areas that help us stay connected as a team while still allowing room for focused work. We also have several meeting rooms and a relax room where people can take a break or chat with colleagues over coffee.
As collaboration is an important part of how we work, most of the team works from the office on a daily basis. We see personal interaction and close cooperation as a key part of our company culture.
Our India office is in Gurugram in the coworking complex Ofis Square, a modern workspace designed for collaboration, flexibility and productivity. The space offers a professional environment with meeting rooms, shared areas, and facilities that support both focused work and teamwork. Our India team works closely with colleagues in Prague and plays an important role in the daily life of the company.

Absolutely! We know that experience in digital forensics or similar specialized fields is not something people commonly have the opportunity to gain. While it can be an advantage for some roles, we also highly value curiosity, problem-solving, communication skills, and willingness to learn across all teams.
The process varies depending on the position and level of seniority. You will typically meet with HR, future team members, and people from management. Some roles may also include a technical task or case study. These are not meant to be stressful exams, but rather a practical way for both sides to better understand your approach, thinking and fit for the role. We aim to make the process transparent and relevant to the role.
Although Compelson is a Czech company, our team is international and we work closely with colleagues, partners and customers from different countries. Because of this, good English communication skills are necessary for every role in the company.
